Our riding instructor, Susan Glover, has been teaching riding for over 15 years, and is certified through the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA).  To arrange for an introductory lesson, call Susan at (864) 304-5067.

LESSONS
We offer lessons for children and adults; for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders, teaching a "Balanced Seat" approach to English riding (see below for Rates ). 

In addition to the fun of being around the horses, students enjoy a thorough, safety-oriented experience through which they not only learn to ride, but also gain a broad understanding of many facets of horsemanship!

"Character Lessons"  - By request, we can also integrate a simple, Bible-based "Character Lesson" into each session.  God invented the horse, after all, and we find that many parallels can be drawn between handling horses, and wisdom for life.  For example: putting others before oneself; being willing to take responsibility for one's actions; learning patience; what it means to show respect; being a godly leader (or, follower); having courage; etc. 

SHOWING
For those who plan to show, we can help you solidify your foundations and prepare you for competition, whether it be for Dressage Shows, Combined Training Events, or local Hunter Shows. Coaching at shows available by special arrangement.

LESSON RATES:

Private Lesson Packages:
6 half hour lessons - $155.00 (about $26 per lesson)
6 one hour lessons - $215.00 (about $36 per lesson)

Single Lessons:
Private one hour lesson - $40.00
Private half hour lesson - $30.00

Group Lessons:
4 in a one hour group - $25.00 per person
3 in a one hour group - $30.00 per person
2 in a one hour semi-private - $35.00 per person
2 in a half hour group - $25.00 per person

TRAINING RATES:

Training Horses:
One ride per week for boarders - $180.00 per month
Two rides per week for boarders - $340.00 per month
One Training ride per week and One Lesson per week - $340.00 per month
Full training/4 rides per week - $400.00 per month

Training Packages:
6 training rides (we tack up/cool down) - $240.00
6 training rides (you tack up/cool down) - $210.00

"The Fine Print:"  Each month consists of four training weeks.
Each month must be pre-paid for all training/lessons.

Lessons Cancellation Policy:
At least 12 HOURS NOTICE must be given for cancellations.
Lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours notice will be forfeited.
"No-shows" and riders arriving more than 15 minutes late will also forfeit their Lesson.

Inclement weather policy: Lessons will be held rain or shine…If for some reason riding is not possible, indoor lessons will be given in stable management/horse management.
